Color Codes of Awareness

February 05th, 2009 | Category: Safety Awareness

Having a system of awareness is very important. The reason why you want to have a system of awareness is simple. When faced with danger, physically things will go wrong.Psychologically things will go wrong.Panic, Shock ,Disbelief, loss of motor-skills. All incorrect and wrong responses. These things can and will happen if you do not have a system of awareness already in place.

Safety Awareness

February 05th, 2009 | Category: Safety Awareness

Awareness plays a major part in being safe. There are lots of people who offers self-defense classes and say they can teach you to be safe, but be very careful .Choosing someone who will teach you to be safe, should be just as important or even more important as buying a car or house, simply because your life may depend on what you are being taught.I have attended various self-defense programs held in various places without the person teaching the classes knowing i already had a background in self-defense.I wanted to see how useful and affective the information really was.To my disbelief it was very bad information being taught, but the person learning may not be aware of just how ineffective the information and techniques they’re learning may be.Because the person teaching is thought to be knowledgeable. So again be careful.

Baton Intelligence Training Enhancement

February 05th, 2009 | Category: Law Enforcemet Training

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

This program has been specifically designed for Law Enforcement Officers to aid in various situations they may encounter on a day to day basis where the baton may be implemented.  All target areas within this program are “non-life threatening” targets, but are in fact capable of disabling an assailant thereby reassuring the safety of the officer.

This seminar is an 8 hour block of comprehensive instruction broken down into two 4 hour sections over the course of 2 days.

The entire seminar and format are modeled after that which is currently being taught to some of our nations top leading Law Enforcement agencies and military personnel across the country.  With the type of skill and response training officers will acquire in these sections, Marino Jones cleverly guides the Law Enforcement Professionals along a path of enlighten few have ever seen.  Thus developing the key attributes needed to be “Street Smart”, and at the same time combat ready!  By being able to evade, disarm, or disable an attacker (literally injuring to a degree).  Law Enforcement Professionals will be able to serve and protect our nation’s citizens and themselves with true confidence.

Safety at Work

February 05th, 2009 | Category: Crime Prevention

As with unpredictability of life, our work environment is also unpredictable. We have all heard stories whether it be a violent criminals just bursting in or a disgruntled employee seeking revenge and killing several innocent people in the work place. Our first instinct is to run and hide under a desk, however that is the first mistake. Most people are so paralyzed with fear that they forget to do the one thing that could save their life; escape the situation. What happens then is the intruder usually just start randomly shooting or just gathers  everyone into a confined area, this leaves the intruder in total control. At this point many people would decide to try fighting or escaping. However by this time it is far too late because they have allowed the intruder to take total control and move them to an isolated area.

Use of Weapons

February 05th, 2009 | Category: Crime Prevention

There are mixed feelings concerning weapons. Some people carry them others say if you carry a weapon you are just asking for trouble. I personally feel in the world we live in today, people need to have some type of weapon with them at all times. I also feel that if your going to carry a weapon you need to be responsible, and have proper training in safety and use of that weapon. In my seminars I cover the use of various hand held weapons, which ones are safe to use and which ones to avoid and why.
