Safety at Work

February 05th, 2009 | Category: Crime Prevention

Our first instinct is to run and hide under a desk, however that is the first mistake. Most people are so paralyzed with fear that they forget to do the one thing that could save their life; escape the situation. What happens then is the intruder usually just start randomly shooting or just gathers  everyone into a confined area, this leaves the intruder in total control. At this point many people would decide to try fighting or escaping. However by this time it is far too late because they have allowed the intruder to take total control and move them to an isolated area.

In my seminars I cover the use of various hand held weapons, which ones are safe to use and which ones to avoid and why.
