2. Do you have a system of awareness that goes far beyond just looking around occasionally?
3. Do you know how to program yourself to respond to a violent encounter?
4. Do you know why most advice given by law enforcement may get you in worst trouble?
5. Do you know which weapon to carry,which ones to avoid,the training and responsibilities?
6. Do you know how to secure your home and make it unattractive to criminals?
7. Do you know how to deal with a car-jacking,armed attackers,home invaders,rapist and more…?

Having a system of awareness is very important.The reason why you want to have a system of awareness is simple.When faced with danger, physically things will go wrong.Psychologically things will go wrong.Panic, Shock ,Disbelief,loss of motor-skills. All incorrect and wrong responses.These things can and will happen if you do not have a system of awareness already in place.

Awareness plays a major part in being safe.There are lots of people who offers self-defense classes and say they can teach you to be safe,but be very careful .Choosing someone who will teach you to be safe,should be just as important or even more important as buying a car or house,simply because your life may depend on what you are being taught.I have attended various self-defense programs held in various places without the person teaching the classes knowing i already had a background in self-defense.I wanted to see how useful and affective the information really was.To my disbelief it was very bad information being taught,but the person learning may not be aware of just how ineffective the information and techniques they’re learning may be.Because the person teaching is thought to be knowledgeable.So again be careful.
